Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Mimms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve comes to the cage accompanied by RENEGADE MASTER. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mimms shoots for a takedown but Steve saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mimms looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mimms fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Steve pushes Mimms up against the cage in a clinch.

Mimms jumps guard.
Mimms keeping moving, preventing Steve from controlling successfully.

Mimms is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Steve defends well.

Steve drops back looking for a leg! Mimms is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mimms manages to kick Steve off! Steve jumps back into Mimms's guard.

Steve drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Steve jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Steve has hold of Mimms's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mimms manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Steve takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
You can see the frustration on Steve's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

I would just about give that final round to Wes Mimms.
Well Steve has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
