Peixoto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye of the tiger. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peixoto throws a sloppy head kick and Hankaniemi moves out of range easily.
Peixoto looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peixoto.
Peixoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Hankaniemi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peixoto seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hankaniemi shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Peixoto is backing up but Hankaniemi catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Peixoto covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hankaniemi Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
