Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kositzky fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Butler scores a nice knee to the body.

Butler gets underhooks to prevent Kositzky's takedown attempt.

Kositzky has Butler pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Butler manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Kositzky has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Butler is trying to keep an underhook but Kositzky manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kositzky stops Butler from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kositzky thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kositzky tries to pass the half guard into mount. Butler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Butler is looking to escape.
Kositzky wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Butler uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Kositzky stops Butler from standing up.
Butler is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Butler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kositzky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kositzky advances position into side control!

Kositzky tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Kositzky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Butler has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kositzky has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Butler is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Kositzky goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Butler is on top in guard.

Kositzky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Butler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Butler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Butler wanted to stand there but Kositzky had control of the position.

Butler wants to stand but Kositzky has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kositzky is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kositzky frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Butler is looking to clinch but Kositzky is avoiding it.
Butler closes the distance looking to clinch

and Kositzky counters with a takedown into side control.

Kositzky swings around for an armbar but Butler sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kositzky's guard.
Kositzky wants to sweep here but Butler controlling him for the moment.

Kositzky is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Butler frees his head nicely. Oh but Kositzky has switched to an armbar! Butler is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
