The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Stink Wrestlehard has been cut.
Wrestlehard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lesnar tries for a takedown but Wrestlehard circles away easily

and Wrestlehard counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wrestlehard is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lesnar sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Wrestlehard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lesnar is just riding it out for now. Wrestlehard eventually gives up the hold.

Wrestlehard is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Wrestlehard is working for a kimura but Lesnar is defending it quite comfortably.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Lesnar rushes Wrestlehard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lesnar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wrestlehard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lesnar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wrestlehard's guard now.
Lesnar trying to control but Wrestlehard is working from the bottom.
Lesnar throws a big right hand that misses.
Lesnar wants to stand but Wrestlehard has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wrestlehard has control of Lesnar's left arm, preventing Lesnar from doing any damage.

Lesnar decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Wrestlehard, up you get!

Wrestlehard drops back looking for a leg! Lesnar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lesnar manages to kick Wrestlehard off! Wrestlehard jumps back into Lesnar's guard.
Lesnar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wrestlehard is trying to escape the mount.
Wrestlehard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lesnar avoids the attempt from Wrestlehard to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wrestlehard is in a horrible position here. Lesnar smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Lesnar is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wrestlehard is surviving well by controlling Lesnar's body position as best he can.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lesnar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wrestlehard to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Wrestlehard wants to free his trapped foot but Lesnar is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wrestlehard is stalling here. Lesnar is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Wrestlehard seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lesnar has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wrestlehard is looking for a sweep. Lesnar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Wrestlehard feints and as Lesnar raises his hands in defense, Wrestlehard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lesnar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Lesnar looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wrestlehard! Submission of the night perhaps?
