PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butter Beer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen ABBA - Dancing Queen as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butter Beer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Miller!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Miller with that takedown attempt.
Miller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beer as he avoids it easily.

Miller feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Beer lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Beer.

Beer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Miller's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Butter Beer.
I think Beer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
