The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holl shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yamamoto as he jumps to the side.
Zach Holl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Holl takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Holl fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Yamamoto manages to avoid it.
Yamamoto throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Zach Holl has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Holl.
Go Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zach Holl.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holl throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yamamoto scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Yamamoto throws a leg kick which misses Holl's front leg but catches the back leg as Holl tries to avoid it.
Holl takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Yamamoto looks to land a combination but Holl avoids it well.
Yamamoto throws a front kick that sends Holl stumbling back into the cage.
Holl is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Holl tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A solid leg kick lands there for Yamamoto.

Yamamoto scores with a one two! Holl had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Yamamoto thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Holl if he has to take too many more of those.
Holl misses with a double jab
and Yamamoto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Holl has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Holl there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yamamoto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holl.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Yamamoto.
Holl has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Yamamoto.
Holl takes a kick to the side of the head.
Yamamoto lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Holl at a distance.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Holl crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yamamoto - the referee stops the clock and Holl gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yamamoto. Holl manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Holl takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
