Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lattavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Gauge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gauge has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lattavo tries to bum rush Gauge with a series of wild strikes but Gauge uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lattavo shoots in for a double leg but Gauge sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lattavo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lattavo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gauge's guard.

Gauge manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lattavo's guard. Nice work there by Gauge.
