Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mishka Palov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyson griffon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
griffon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Palov, pushing him back against the cage.
griffon is trying to force a seperation but Palov has the dominant position.
griffon breaks the clinch.
griffon misses with an uppercut.
griffon missing with a left hand there. Palov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Palov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Palov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

griffon landing rabbit punches to the side of Palov's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Palov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Palov has control of griffon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and griffon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Palov lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Palov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

griffon tries to lock up and control but Palov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Palov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
griffon slaps away a takedown attempt from Palov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Palov.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Palov is trying hard to land a takedown here. griffon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Palov tries to score a power double leg takedown but griffon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Palov somewhat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Palov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. griffon tries to avoid it but Palov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag griffon to the ground. griffon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Palov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but griffon swivels and escapes.
Mishka Palov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Palov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around griffon's waist but griffon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Palov off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mishka Palov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Palov moves in looking to clinch but griffon pushes him off.

It looks like Mishka Palov has been cut.

griffon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than griffon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

griffon sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Palov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
griffon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
griffon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Palov turns into him and now he's in griffon's guard.
griffon wants to sweep here but Palov controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
griffon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Palov is aware though and is defending well.

Palov tries to free his leg and advance position but griffon is retaining full guard.
Palov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

and griffon counters with a head kick. That will keep Palov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Palov thuds a left hand into griffon's body.
griffon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Palov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has griffon pinned against the cage. griffon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and griffon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Palov!
Palov regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Palov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of griffon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take griffon's back!

tyson griffon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Palov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but griffon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and griffon counters with a big head kick but Palov shrugs it off.

Palov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Palov decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Palov tries to bum rush griffon with a series of wild strikes but griffon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
griffon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Palov.
Palov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Palov showed some decent athleticism there.

griffon wants to stand back up but Palov manages to pass into side control.
griffon is not content to let Palov control the position.
