Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amon Hah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Amon Hah!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hah fails to land with a series of punches.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hah is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.
Hah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie trying to control the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is pressing down on Hah's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hah is holding on for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie trying to pass the guard but Hah defending well.
Gracie passes to full mount!

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hah is on top in guard.
Gracie controlling the position.

Gracie keeping moving, preventing Hah from controlling successfully.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hah is aware though and is defending well.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Hah trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hah wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.
Gracie is pulling down on Hah's head to control his posture.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gracie is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rogerio Gracie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Some wild striking there from Hah.
Hah swinging wilding here.

Gracie shoots in and bounces Hah off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rogerio Gracie dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Hah tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gracie gets a clinch.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hah walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hah misses with the combination.
Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hah's guard.
Gracie's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Hah is keeping the position.
Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hah's guard.
Hah is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hah defends it well.
Hah is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie passes to full mount!
Gracie controlling his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rogerio Gracie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Gracie gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hah will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hah scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Hah.
Hah throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rogerio Gracie dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
Gracie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Hah is defending well.
Gracie content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie trying to pass the guard but Hah defending well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Gracie slows the pace down in half guard.
Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie is landing with some decent strikes but Hah is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Gracie moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hah has worked his arm free - good work by Hah!
Hah pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gracie trying to control the action but Hah is working from the bottom.
Hah wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie controls the position from side control.
Amon Hah has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie tries to advance to mount but Hah denies him.

And that's the end of the fight!
Rogerio Gracie showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gracie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
