Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Choccy Skillen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Willaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willaldo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Skillen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Willaldo.
Skillen tries to clinch but Willaldo moves out of range.
Skillen fails with a takedown attempt.

Willaldo catches Skillen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Willaldo cracks a nice hook into Skillen's ribs.
Willaldo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Skillen but Skillen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Skillen rushes Willaldo and presses him up against the cage.

Willaldo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Skillen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Skillen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Skillen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willaldo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Skillen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A close round but Thiago Willaldo will probably get the nod.

and Willaldo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Skillen's guard.

Willaldo throws a strike but Skillen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Willaldo is on top in guard.

Willaldo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Skillen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Willaldo.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Willaldo wants to control from the top but Skillen keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Willaldo looking to sit in guard and control but Skillen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Skillen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Skillen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Skillen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Willaldo tries to keep at a distance but Skillen has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Skillen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Willaldo regains guard.
Skillen gets to his feet - Willaldo follows without any prompting.
Skillen swinging wilding here.
Nice takedown defense from Skillen. No joy for Willaldo on that attempt.
Skillen dives in and grabs Willaldo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Willaldo pushes down on Skillen's head and hops out.
Willaldo tries to clinch there but Skillen circles away.
Choccy Skillen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Willaldo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Skillen.
Skillen throws a series of punches but Willaldo moves out of range.
Willaldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Skillen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Choccy Skillen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Willaldo is looking to take a break and control but Skillen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
