PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Bradsted (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Le beau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradsted comes to the cage accompanied by ...and blood will flow by Dawn of Demise. Remy Le beau told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bradsted tries to keep at a distance but Le beau has taken the fight into the clinch.
Le beau wants a takedown.
Le beau misses with a knee to the head.
Bradsted wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Le beau's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Le beau has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bradsted is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Le beau looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Le beau tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kenneth Bradsted has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Remy Le beau.
Le beau tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bradsted smiles and moves away.
Le beau shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bradsted sprawls well. Bradsted wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Le beau gets slowly back to his feet.
Le beau tries to clinch but Bradsted moves out of range.
Le beau takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bradsted wants to clinch.

Le beau explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Le beau throws a left and a right that both miss
and Le beau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bradsted throws a combination that misses

and Le beau counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bradsted is trying to stand back up but Le beau is controlling him
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradsted is concentrating on defense, preventing Le beau from advancing position.
Le beau is trying to control. Bradsted wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Bradsted wants to get back to his feet.
Le beau is trying to control the action in half guard but Bradsted is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Le beau prevents Bradsted from improving his position.
Le beau should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bradsted throws a right and a left that Le beau avoids nicely.
Bradsted moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Bradsted lands a left and a right that send Le beau crashing to the mat, dazed. Bradsted thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bradsted catches Le beau with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Le beau is still on wobbly legs! Can Bradsted finish him?
Bradsted lands an uppercut, right on the button! Le beau tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
