The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
saluta moves out of range of the body kick.
Johnson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but saluta swats him away and circles back towards the center.
saluta misses with a few strikes there.

Johnson clinches with his opponent.
Johnson fails to pull guard.

Johnson pulls guard effortlessly.
saluta is looking to stand up but Johnson won't let him.

Johnson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
saluta lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
saluta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
saluta takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Johnson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Johnson tests saluta's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around saluta's waist but saluta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

saluta leaves Johnson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

saluta wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
