Valadez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Valadez is defended easily by De La Soul.
De La Soul stalks Valadez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Valadez's face. Valadez staggers backwards, shaken.
De La Soul displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Valadez.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Valadez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Valadez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Valadez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
