The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matazuki throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pomruk's head.
Pomruk stuffs the takedown attempt from Matazuki. Matazuki gets slowly back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matazuki wants to control but Pomruk is having none of it.
Matazuki is trying to stand.
Matazuki is trying desperately to improve position.

Pomruk jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Matazuki is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Matazuki and Pomruk has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Matazuki tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pomruk wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Matazuki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Pomruk is trying to control the action in half guard but Matazuki is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Matazuki has control of Pomruk's left arm, preventing Pomruk from doing any damage.

Matazuki looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pomruk is defending well. Matazuki quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pomruk has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Matazuki celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
