Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Francis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Hobbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Hobbs is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Francis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Hobbs!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hobbs slaps away a takedown attempt from Francis, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Francis shoots in for a takedown but Hobbs shows good takedown defense.
Francis shoots for a takedown but Hobbs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Francis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Francis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hobbs's waist but Hobbs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Francis off to one side.
Francis shoots in looking for a takedown. Hobbs tries to sprawl out of it but Francis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hobbs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hobbs stuns Francis with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Francis is breathing heavily.
Hobbs lands a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hobbs lands a big right hand that sends Francis crashing to the mat! Hobbs stays standing though and waves Francis back to his feet!
It looks like Dan Francis has been cut.
Hobbs cracks Francis with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Francis tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hobbs pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Francis is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Hobbs!
