Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Clarno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pain McGraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joshua Clarno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Pain McGraw!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarno closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGraw circles away.

McGraw closes the distance and pushes Clarno back into the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from McGraw.
McGraw lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Clarno tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Clarno can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joshua Clarno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

McGraw drags the fight down to the ground.
Clarno has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Clarno throws a strike but McGraw rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
McGraw slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Clarno looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but McGraw puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
McGraw prevents Clarno from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, McGraw seems content to control.
Clarno is trying to stand.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McGraw controlling the pace.
Clarno wants to improve his position but McGraw is controlling well.
McGraw seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

McGraw prevents Clarno from improving his position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clarno is trying to stand back up but McGraw is controlling him
McGraw is taking a breather. Clarno says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
McGraw passes the guard and advances to mount!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Clarno is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pain McGraw dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



McGraw closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Clarno throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

McGraw stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McGraw pulls out of a head kick attempt.

McGraw forces Clarno back against the cage and clinches.

McGraw gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Clarno regains guard.
Clarno wants to stand but McGraw is controlling the position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Clarno thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clarno keeping moving, preventing McGraw from controlling successfully.
Clarno is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McGraw dives into side control.
McGraw controlling the position.
Clarno pushes McGraw away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McGraw gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
McGraw remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Clarno is looking to regain half guard here but McGraw keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McGraw has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Clarno!
McGraw content just to control the position here.
Clarno wants to control but McGraw is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McGraw with the ground and pound from mount.
McGraw punching from mount but Clarno doing a good job of avoiding damage.
McGraw controlling his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clarno gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pain McGraw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


McGraw thows a body shot but no joy.
Clarno pivots, looking for a leg kick but McGraw is out of range and Clarno settles back down.
Clarno lands with a cross.
McGraw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clarno paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Clarno throws a leg kick but McGraw moved away.
Clarno misses with a wild body shot.
Clarno tries for a takedown but McGraw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McGraw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clarno.
A clash of legs there as McGraw blocks the low kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGraw misses with a hook. Clarno ducked under it nicely.
No luck for Clarno with that takedown attempt.
Clarno fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGraw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

McGraw clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A knee to the head by McGraw.
McGraw misses with a body punch.
Clarno tries to pull guard but McGraw holds him up against the cage and eventually Clarno drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joshua Clarno. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McGraw breaks from the clinch.
Joshua Clarno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Clarno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Clarno works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McGraw throws a right hand that Clarno ducks under and follows up with a left that Clarno also avoids with ease.
Clarno avoids the body shot from McGraw.
McGraw misses with a jab to the body
and Clarno counters with a straight right hand.
McGraw misses with a looping left.
McGraw misses with a wild combination.
McGraw connects with a body shot.

McGraw closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGraw lands in his opponent's guard.

McGraw preventing the sweep.
McGraw's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Clarno really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Clarno wants to stand and escape but McGraw is having none of it.

McGraw stays in close to Clarno's body and controls the position.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
Clarno wants to get back to his feet but McGraw is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
McGraw stays in close to Clarno's body and controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Pain McGraw.
I've got McGraw winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
