Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Meyer!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer has a takedown stuffed.
Vance thows a left - swing and a miss!

Meyer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vance is trying to defend but Meyer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Meyer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Vance wants to get back to his feet.
Vance keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Meyer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Meyer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vance has managed to free his arm - good work.

Meyer is trying to work for a kimura but Vance is defending well.
Vance is trying to stand up here but Meyer is controlling him well.

Meyer seems to be looking for submissions.

Meyer is working for a kimura but Vance is defending it quite comfortably.
Vance pushes Meyer off looking to stand but Meyer dives back in and keeps control.

Meyer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Vance has managed to free his arm - good work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Meyer is trying to work for a kimura but Vance is defending well.
Vance looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Meyer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vance doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Meyer.

Meyer seems to be looking for submissions.

Meyer looking for a submission but Vance manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Meyer has gone for a leg lock! Vance slips out almost immediately though and dives into Meyer's guard.

Meyer throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vance won't allow Meyer to sweep him here.
Meyer has a closed guard, preventing Vance from standing up.
Meyer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vance is one step ahead there.
Vance knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meyer on the ground.

Vance wanted to stand there but Meyer had control of the position.

Meyer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vance doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vance manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Vance wants to get up but he can't break Meyer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Meyer wants to sweep here but Vance controlling him for the moment.
Vance would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Meyer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vance defends well.
Vance tries to stand but Meyer is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Meyer dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Meyer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Meyer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vance drops Meyer with a beautiful combination! Meyer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vance is looking for the KO!


Meyer is rocked!


It looks like John Meyer has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Meyer shoots in and drives through. Vance sprawls well.
Meyer is still on wobbly legs! Can Vance finish him?
Vance lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Meyer - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Vance!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franklyn Vance!
