Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ji Shin Chun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hisoka Misawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hisoka Misawa!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Misawa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Misawa trying to control the action but Chun is working from the bottom.
Misawa creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chun sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Chun explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Misawa throws a leg kick but Chun moved away.
Chun lands a head kick!
Misawa throws and low kick but Chun moves out of range easily.
Chun takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Misawa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Misawa lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Misawa tries to free his leg and advance position but Chun is retaining full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Chun decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Chun throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Chun throws a sloppy head kick and Misawa moves out of range easily.
Misawa blocks a head kick by Chun.
A nice leg kick lands there from Chun.
Misawa takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Chun throws an off balance right hand
and Misawa counters with a low kick, right behind Chun 's knee.
Chun looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Misawa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Misawa lands in his opponent's guard.
Misawa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chun swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Misawa wants to control from the top but Chun keeps moving.

Misawa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Misawa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Misawa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Chun not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Misawa loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hisoka Misawa dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Misawa avoids the body shot from Chun.
Chun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chun is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Misawa.
Chun throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Chun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Misawa moves away.
Chun throws a sloppy head kick and Misawa moves out of range easily.
A head kick from Chun lands but Misawa takes it in his stride.

It looks like Hisoka Misawa has been cut.
Misawa fails to land the takedown.
Chun uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Misawa.
A head kick misses from Chun.
Misawa checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chun walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Misawa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Chun closes the distance but Misawa moves to the side

and Misawa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Chun won't be happy with that.

Misawa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Misawa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Chun will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Misawa tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Chun presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Misawa is looking to improve his position but Chun isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Chun wants to control but Misawa is keeping busy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ji Shin Chun will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Hisoka Misawa's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Chun throws a head kick but Misawa moves out of range.
Chun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chun ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Chun swats away the attempt to clinch by Misawa.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Misawa content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Misawa. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Hisoka Misawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
