Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allie Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in but no luck this time.

Marcus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Marcus stands up from Santos's guard - Marcus perhaps looking for a knockout.

Santos gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Marcus.

Santos is trying to break the clinch but Marcus has him pressed against the cage.

Marcus feints and as Santos raises his hands in defense, Marcus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Marcus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marcus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Santos is really struggling to control Marcus but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marcus is putting a hurting on Santos here, landing some big shots from side control.

Santos manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Marcus is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

and Marcus counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Santos's guard now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allie Marcus dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Marcus tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Marcus decides to stand back up. Marcus steps back and let's Santos get back to his feet.

Marcus drops down looking for an ankle pick but Santos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thiago Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Marcus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Marcus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Marcus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Marcus decides to stand up, so the ref orders Santos to his feet.
Marcus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Marcus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Santos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Marcus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marcus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Marcus has hold of Santos's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Santos tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Marcus cranks the arm and Santos screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Santos, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
