The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swoop circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wester tries to close the distance and clinch but Swoop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Swoop looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wester is fending him off so far but Swoop persists. Nope, Wester circles away and we're back to standing.

Wester stuffs the takedown attempt from Swoop. Swoop gets slowly back to his feet.
Martin Wester has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathew Swoop.

Swoop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wester keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wester displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swoop.

Wester gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wester wants to stand and escape but Swoop is having none of it.

Swoop keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wester's head.
Wester is looking to stand up but Swoop isn't so interested in that idea.
