Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh Matson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Red Fury!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Matson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Matson duly obliges.
Fury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Matson checks a leg kick.
Matson wants to clinch up but Fury keeps it at a distance.
Matson takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Matson moves into the clinch.

Matson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Matson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fury can pounce on him.
Fury throws a hook but Matson blocks it.

Matson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fury can't break the clinch.
Matson keeps control of Fury as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

A right handed body shot lands from Matson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matson pushes Fury back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Matson.
Matson tries to circle away but Fury has him pinned against the cage.

Fury pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Fury.
Matson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fury slips a straight right by Matson.
Matson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fury.
Fury connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Matson connects with a single shot there.
Fury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fury throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fury takes a jab right on the kisser.
Matson throws a shot from downtown. Fury moves away and avoids it.
Josh Matson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Matson lands a left and a right that send Fury crashing to the mat, dazed. Matson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fury is rocked!
Matson shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Fury takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Matson sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Fury bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
