Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dave Doball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bader Cier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cier has chosen Elephant Man ft. Ding Dong - Dip Again as his entrance music. Bader Cier will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dave Doball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bader Cier!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cier pushes Doball up against the ropes in a clinch.
Doball looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Cier is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Doball is keeping busy.
Doball is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cier pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cier stalls.
Cier wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Doball has him pressed against the ropes.
Cier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cier throws a right and a left that Doball avoids nicely.
Doball closes the distance and clinches up with Cier, looking for a takedown. Doball pushes Cier against the ropes but Cier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Doball swings for the body but Cier moves out of range.
Doball on the wrong end of a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cier scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Doball throws a sloppy head kick and Cier moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Cier, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Cier swats away the attempt to clinch by Doball.
Bader Cier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cier has Doball up against the ropes in a clinch.
Cier manages to break the clinch.
Doball showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cier.
Cier closes the distance but Doball moves to the side
and Doball holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cier misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Doball.
Cier taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Doball is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cier manages to break the clinch.
Cier stuns Doball with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Doball blocks a head kick by Cier.
A left and a right from Cier both land. Nice combination.
Cier tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Doball paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Doball throws a head kick that misses
and Cier counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cier lets loose with a powerful body kick. Doball will feel that in the morning.
Doball throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cier was covering up waiting for the punch and Doball finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cier working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Doball has passed into half guard!

Cier looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Cier tries to kick Doball off but Doball keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Doball is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cier defends it well.
Doball is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Doball.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cier moves into full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doball doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doball manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bader Cier dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Doball gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Cier moves into the clinch.

Cier is trying to maintain a safe position but Doball gets an underhook and turns Cier into the ropes.
Cier lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cier fails to land with a series of punches.
Doball throws a push kick but Cier slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Doball throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cier moves into the clinch.
Doball changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cier fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cier wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Cier misses with a wild body shot.
Doball misses with a body shot.
Doball fails with the takedown
and Cier counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dave Doball. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Cier. Doball shrugs it off though.

enabling Cier to counter with a crisp jab.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Good leg kick by Doball there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cier will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Doball up against the ropes.
Doball is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cier breaks from the clinch.
Doball throws a hook but Cier blocks it.
Cier darts in trying to clinch
and Doball counters with a thumping low kick.

Doball throws a sloppy head kick and Cier moves out of range easily.
A left and a right from Cier both land. Nice combination.

Doball throws a low kick, looking for Cier's leg but Cier calmly moves out of range.
Cier gets in close and instigates a clinch.

and Cier counters with a slapping leg kick.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doball throws a right hand that Cier ducks under and follows up with a left that Cier also avoids with ease.
Cier is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Doball rather than just go for the knockout.
Cier has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Doball wants to clinch
and Cier holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Doball really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cier seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Doball is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
