The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Ried paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ried connects with a high kick.
Fernandez tries to clinch but Ried moves out of range.
Ried thows a body kick. Fernandez tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ried fails to land with a series of punches.
Ried closes the distance and pushes Fernandez back into the ropes.
Fernandez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fernandez.
Ried looks gassed!
Fernandez lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ried backwards.
Fernandez stalling.
Ried can't find room to land a body shot as Fernandez controls the action.
Ried misses with a knee strike.
Fernandez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ried clinches but Fernandez breaks the clinch
and Fernandez counters with a crisp right that sends Ried to the canvas! Fernandez follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
