The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alexandre sprawls well. Alexandre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ellis gets slowly back to his feet.
Ellis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

and Ellis finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Alexandre doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ellis counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Alexandre has his feet on Ellis's thighs here. He's pushed Ellis off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ellis screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
