Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darius Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Xenos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes into the arena with 2pac nothing to lose blaring out of the sound system. Darius Ellis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Xavier Xenos's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xenos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Xenos showed some decent athleticism there.
Ellis wants to get back to his feet.
Xenos looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Xenos is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Xenos is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ellis is defending well though. Xenos let's go of the attempt for now.

Ellis manages to stand up with Xenos still on his back. Eventually Xenos drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Ellis is breathing heavily.
Ellis wants to clinch.
Xenos swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellis.
Ellis throws a nice looking combination but Xenos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Xenos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Xenos forces his way into half guard.

Xenos uses his free foot to push down on Ellis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ellis.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Xenos has hold of Ellis's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ellis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Xenos looking to control but Ellis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Xenos is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Ellis is forced to tap! Great finish!
