Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffa Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rutten misses with a jab, cross combination.
A slow jab from Rutten misses its intended target.
Rutten punishes Gracie's body with a nice straight punch.
Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rutten to score with a decent uppercut.
Gracie moves out of range of the leg kick from Rutten.
Steffa Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutten looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Rutten throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.

Gracie has a takedown stuffed.
Rutten throws a good cross that connects.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Rutten.
Rutten scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gracie doesn't seem bothered though.
Rutten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rutten drops Gracie with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gracie looks back up at him and smiles so Rutten waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rutten throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rutten is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gracie rather than just go for the knockout.
Rutten lands a big uppercut and Gracie crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gracie looks OK. Rutten waves Gracie back to his feet!

Gracie checks a leg kick.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rutten swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Gracie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rutten.

Rutten sends Gracie crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rutten is motioning to the referee to let Gracie up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rutten goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Rutten throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rutten comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Good work by Gracie as he checks the leg kick.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gracie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rutten moves into range and clinches up with Gracie.

Rutten throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rutten lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gracie falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
