PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ceasar CC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ric Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tiger has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CC fails with a takedown attempt.
Tiger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tiger wants it to stay on the feet.
Tiger defends well against a solid takedown attempt from CC.

Tiger shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. CC manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
CC controls Tiger momentarily but Tiger frees himself.
Tiger would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now CC is on top in guard.
Tiger is looking to stand back up but CC counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tiger.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
CC ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tiger moves away.

CC throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Ceasar CC has been cut.

Tiger is going olschool here, as he tries to force CC to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so CC shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tiger wants to finish this one by submission but CC is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tiger.

Ric Tiger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tiger gets the takedown into side control.

Tiger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Tiger has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, CC works to full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tiger must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
CC is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tiger throws a strike but CC rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ceasar CC has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Tiger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
