Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanz Stokenhizer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatton comes to the cage accompanied by Blue Moon. Stokenhizer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Lucky Bullets "Cross the Line". I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokenhizer looks to land a combination but Hatton avoids it well.
Hatton just misses with a punch to the body.
Stokenhizer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hatton ducks under a wild hook from Stokenhizer.
Stokenhizer throws a lazy right hand but Hatton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stokenhizer. Hatton does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Stokenhizer counters with a series of strikes. Hatton will be more careful next time no doubt.

Stokenhizer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hatton looks to score with a jab to the body but Stokenhizer is just out of range.

Stokenhizer shoots in and bounces Hatton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stokenhizer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Hatton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stokenhizer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hatton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stokenhizer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
No joy there for Hatton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Stokenhizer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hatton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well Stokenhizer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
