PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Meodread Magas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frade Francke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Europe - The Final Countdown. Frade Francke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Magas misses.
Magas lands a nice shot to the body.
Meodread Magas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magas just misses with a punch to the body.
Magas throws a one two combo.
Francke fails with the takedown.
A combination from Magas does no damage.
Magas misses with a jab, cross combination.
Magas connects with the punch.
Magas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Francke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Magas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Francke is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Magas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Francke swings around for an armbar but Magas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Francke 's guard.
Francke looks gassed!

Francke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Magas defends well.

Magas gets to his feet. Francke looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Magas pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Magas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magas misses with a body shot.
Francke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magas tries to avoid it but Francke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magas to the ground. Magas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Magas looks to score with a jab to the body but Francke is just out of range.
Magas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Magas slaps away a takedown attempt from Francke , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Meodread Magas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frade Francke .

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Magas misses with a looping right.
Magas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Francke is rocked!
Magas steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Francke is out on his feet! Magas sets himself and nearly takes Francke 's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
