The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strope misses with a looping right.
Maiah slips under a jab.
Strope throws a shot from downtown. Maiah moves away and avoids it.
A punch combination from Maiah misses.

Maiah ducks under a wild hook from Strope.
Maiah has a takedown stuffed.
Demian Maiah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maiah ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Strope displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Maiah.

Strope throws a looping overhand right but Maiah ducks down to avoid it.

Strope fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Maiah out cold! Brutal finish!
