Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danny Gallego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Danny Gallego has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Gallego!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nelson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Nelson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Gallego manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nelson manages to get himself to full guard.

Nelson wants to stand and escape but Gallego is having none of it.

Gallego might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gallego has control of Nelson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nelson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nelson is desperately trying to improve his position but Gallego has a good base and remains in mount.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gallego is on top in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gallego is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bob Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Gallego has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nelson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gallego escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nelson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gallego is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
