The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but lib avoids it really well and circles away.
Kim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kim feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
lib tries to clinch but Kim moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - lib looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
lib leaves Kim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
vlatko lib has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Kim is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. lib is trying to escape and Kim transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and lib is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kim! Very nice indeed!
