Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hay has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Hong Lee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Hay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lee has Hay in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hong Lee will probably get the nod.

Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Lee counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hay is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Hay scores with a one two! Lee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hay as he jumps to the side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hong Lee.
