The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Infamous shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Infamous looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Infamous drops back, looking for a kneebar! Johnson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Johnson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Johnson!

Johnson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Infamous, who protects the arm well.

Johnson stands up and beckons Infamous to his feet.
Infamous shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Infamous's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
King Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Infamous.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Infamous has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Infamous escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Infamous had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Infamous Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Johnson uses his free foot to push down on Infamous's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Infamous.

Johnson wants to finish this one by submission but Infamous is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Johnson.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Infamous looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
