The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pomruk's guard.
Pomruk looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kano is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pomruk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kano forces his way into half guard.
Kano is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pomruk sees it coming and defends easily.
Kano is trying for a kimura here. Pomruk looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kano wins by kimura!
