Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jani Kroger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elias Lapio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapio misses with a few strikes there.
Kroger tries to move into range but Lapio moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Horrible takedown by Kroger or perhaps it was just good defense by Lapio which made him look bad.
Lapio blocks a head kick by Kroger.
Lapio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lapio scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Lapio rushes Kroger and presses him up against the cage.
Kroger is working for takedown but Lapio is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lapio is trying to break the clinch but Kroger is controlling him.

Lapio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kroger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lapio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kroger throws a leg kick but Lapio sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kroger misses with a body kick.
Lapio scores with a jab. Kroger acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kroger has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lapio lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kroger at a distance.
Lapio lands a nice shot that snaps Kroger's head back.
Kroger misses with a wild body shot.
Kroger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kroger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lapio throws a right and a left that Kroger avoids nicely.

Kroger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lapio manages to avoid it.
Kroger doesn't manage to clinch there - Lapio circles away.
Lapio moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Kroger is rocked!
Lapio lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Kroger falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
