Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gator Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reda Zinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raid comes to the cage accompanied by Rio de Janeiro. Reda Zinger will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Gator Raid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reda Zinger! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zinger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Raid shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Raid showed some decent athleticism there. Raid is nestled in close to Zinger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Raid is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zinger tries to roll over but Raid keeps him under control. Raid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Zinger is trying to stand up here but Raid is controlling him well. Zinger is trying to maintain the position but Raid is very close to passing his half guard. Raid is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Raid feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Zinger keeping moving, preventing Raid from controlling successfully. Raid working some strikes from top position. Zinger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Raid is staying active underneath Zinger, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Raid wants to get back to full guard but Zinger has mounted him! Raid on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Raid tries to get out of the position. Zinger tries to control but Raid wriggling away. Zinger prevents Raid from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raid is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Raid is looking to improve his position but Zinger isn't that keen on the idea. Zinger blocks Raid's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Raid reaches up to try and control the position but Zinger seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Raid rolls and tries to escape and now Zinger has his back!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zinger trying to control momentarily.
Raid might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Raid is really stuck here.
Raid manages to reverse the position and now he's in Zinger's guard. Nice work there by Raid.
Raid wants to control from the top but Zinger keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Raid closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zinger is trying to get back to full guard. Zinger looks gassed! Raid trying to mount his opponent but Zinger defends it. Raid winds up and cracks Zinger with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zinger is looking to control Raid's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zinger avoid being mounted? Raid is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zinger slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Raid gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raid shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Raid landing some decent shots from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raid working some strikes from top position. Raid lands a couple of decent looking shots. Raid working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zinger's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raid with a nice head shot there. Raid is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Raid chips away with some ground and pound. Raid landing some decent shots from guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Raid postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Raid trying to control the position from guard on top but Zinger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gator Raid dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raid throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zinger was covering up waiting for the punch and Raid finishes the takedown easily into guard. Raid scoring with some ground and pound. Raid is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Zinger wants to sweep but no luck. Raid working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Raid trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raid postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Raid postures up.
Zinger is breathing heavily. Zinger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zinger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Raid is one step ahead there. Raid with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Raid looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zinger! Raid landing shots from mount. A nice elbow there by Raid. Raid is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Zinger can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Zinger is rocked! Raid postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Zinger in real trouble here! The ref calls for Zinger to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gator Raid!
