Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jim jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iron Jake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jake lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
jim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jake's waist but Jake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing jim off to one side.
Jake fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
jim moves forwards but Jake connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jake tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jake listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jake throws a nice looking combination but jim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
jim thows a body shot but no joy.
Jake lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jake.

and Jake counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jake fails to land with a series of punches.
Jake lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and jim counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by jim.

jim's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Jake counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
jim is breathing heavily.
jim doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
jim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten jim somewhat.
jim jim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jake lands with a big left! jim is wobbled badly! Jake comes in with a flurry of punches and drops jim to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
