Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maik Valua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Bernardes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maik Valua is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valua smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bernardes swings for the body but Valua moves out of range.

Valua clinches with his opponent.
Bernardes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Valua manages to break the clinch.
Bernardes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Valua avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A jab-cross combination lands for Valua and sends Bernardes crashing to the mat! Valua follows him down to the mat - Bernardes regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Bernardes stands and throws Valua's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Valua on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Valua tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bernardes tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Valua tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bernardes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Valua knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bernardes on the ground.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bernardes is standing up, even though he is in mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A big right from Bernardes misses.
Bernardes takes one to the side of the head.
Bernardes wants to clinch up but Valua keeps it at a distance.
Valua uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bernardes.
Valua throws a hook to the side of Bernardes's head but Bernardes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bernardes scores with a jab. Valua acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bernardes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bernardes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Bernardes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Valua missing with a left hand there. Bernardes was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Valua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Valua counters with a lovely shot to the body.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Bernardes in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Bernardes is breathing heavily.
Valua works the jab nicely.
Bernardes moves away from the strike by Valua.
Valua lunges at Bernardes with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bernardes's hand.

Valua circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bernardes to the canvas! Bernardes doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Valua keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
