The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Reed as Jackson shoots in.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a low kick.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reed pinned against the cage. Reed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jackson lands a nice hook to Reed's body. Reed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Paul Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reed circles away.
Reed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Reed drops Jackson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Reed follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
