And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nunu Brice!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brice blocks the body kick.
Hicks throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Hicks .
Brice misses with a combination
and Hicks counters with a nice body shot.
Brice takes a swing at Hicks 's ribcage but misses.
A shot to the body from Brice misses

and Hicks counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Brice!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hicks stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Brice to get to his feet.
Brice tries to bum rush Hicks with a series of wild strikes but Hicks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brice looks gassed!

Hicks bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Brice! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Brice is rocked!

Hicks gets to his feet. Brice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Brice is still on wobbly legs! Can Hicks finish him?

Brice seems to have recovered his senses.
Brice throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hicks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Brice's knee momentarily.
Hicks connects with a looping right hand.
Hicks scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hicks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hicks misses with a few strikes there.
Hicks tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hicks cracks Brice with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Brice tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hicks pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Brice is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
