The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Denjat closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Denjat grinds an elbow into Sanchez's temple.
Denjat wants to control but Sanchez is keeping him busy.
Denjat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sanchez on the ground.

Sanchez tries to improve position but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Denjat lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Sanchez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Denjat. Oh but Sanchez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Denjat goes limp - he's gone! Sanchez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
