Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ty Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mehoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mehoff comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Choke Sermon by Lamb of God kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mehoff throws a big shot that misses.

Mehoff drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mehoff in side control, throwing shots but Anderson defends.
Mehoff misses with the ground and pound.
Anderson wants to get back to his feet.

Mehoff is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Anderson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Anderson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mehoff wants to pass to mount but Anderson is defending the position.
Mehoff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Anderson keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Anderson pulls Mehoff in close to prevent any damage.
Mehoff throws and elbow that misses. Anderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mehoff's guard. Nice move by Anderson!

Mehoff has an active guard here but Anderson has managed to pass into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Mehoff counters with a nice uppercut.
Anderson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Anderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mehoff throws a series of strikes that have Anderson backpedaling.

It looks like Ty Anderson has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Mehoff.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mehoff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mehoff shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Anderson is trying to defend but Mehoff finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

A slow jab from Mehoff misses its intended target.
Anderson lands with a hook. Mehoff tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Anderson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mehoff makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mehoff.

Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mehoff swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mehoff wants to sweep here but Anderson controlling him for the moment.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Anderson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Anderson wants to pass the guard but Mehoff is keeping the position.
Mehoff tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anderson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anderson wants to pass the guard but Mehoff is keeping the position.
Mehoff bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.

Mehoff drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Anderson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mehoff has Anderson in his guard.
Anderson wants to stand but Mehoff has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Mehoff has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Anderson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mehoff.

Well Mehoff has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
