The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Acton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Filipovic paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Filipovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Acton or perhaps it was just good defense by Filipovic which made him look bad.

Acton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Filipovic.

Filipovic moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Filipovic! Acton is out on his feet! Filipovic rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Acton is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Acton is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
