Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Confuses Sachmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by F.E.A.R. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ian Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Confuses Sachmo!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fails to land with a series of punches.
Sachmo takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sachmo shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brown throws a nice looking combination but Sachmo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sachmo gets back to half guard.
Sachmo desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Brown is nestled in close to Sachmo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sachmo works his way to full guard. Good work.

Sachmo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Brown has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sachmo is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brown throws a leg kick that misses.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sachmo circles away quickly and effectively.
Sachmo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brown but Brown pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Ian Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sachmo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Sachmo pushes him off.
Brown wants to clinch.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Sachmo saw that one coming.
Sachmo walks into a left hand.
Sachmo avoids the head kick by Brown.

Sachmo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sachmo is keen to just control but Brown is a slippery customer.

Sachmo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Brown's head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Brown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown stuffs the takedown.
Ian Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Confuses Sachmo.

Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Sachmo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sachmo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Brown scoring with strikes but Sachmo is staying in there.

Brown tries to stand and escape but Sachmo is controlling the position.
Brown thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Sachmo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brown throwing strikes but missing.
Brown throws a strike but Sachmo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ian Brown dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sachmo fails with the takedown.

Sachmo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sachmo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Brown avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sachmo.

Brown is trying to stand up here but Sachmo is controlling him well.
Sachmo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brown keeps working.
Sachmo thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sachmo connects with a nice short shot to Brown's temple.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brown drops Sachmo with a nice combination! Brown dives into Sachmo's guard, looking to finish!


Sachmo is rocked!


It looks like Confuses Sachmo has been cut.
Brown is stalling in the full guard.
Sachmo is still in real trouble! Can Brown finish him?

Brown wants to get up but he can't break Sachmo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Sachmo seems to have recovered his senses.

Sachmo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sachmo on the ground.
Brown wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brown lands with a right that hurts Sachmo. Sachmo looks to clinch but Brown throws a short knee that drops Sachmo. This one is all over!
