The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Urpilainen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Urpilainen rushes Paine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Urpilainen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Paine pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Paine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Urpilainen smiles and moves away.
Urpilainen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Urpilainen showed some decent athleticism there.
Urpilainen is keen to just control but Paine is a slippery customer.
Paine wants to improve his position but Urpilainen is controlling well.
