The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bobek.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bobek is looking to take a break and control but Walkowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Walkowski is looking to regain half guard here but Bobek keeps moving and retains side control.

Bobek in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Bobek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walkowski on the ground.

Bobek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Walkowski, who protects the arm well.
Walkowski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Walkowski pushes Bobek off and gets back to his feet.

Walkowski is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bobek's half guard.

Bobek makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bobek.
Walkowski wanted to stand there but Bobek had control of the position.

Walkowski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Walkowski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walkowski tries to clinch up but Bobek circles away and keeps his distance.

and Walkowski counters with a body kick.

and Bobek counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Walkowski!
Bobek seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Walkowski is holding on tight.
Walkowski is trying to escape the mount.
Walkowski flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Bobek avoids the attempt from Walkowski to control.

Walkowski keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bobek has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Walkowski's face.
Walkowski is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Walkowski is bucking up trying to escape but Bobek cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bobek goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Walkowski turns into him and now he's in Bobek's guard.
Bobek wants to hit a switch here but Walkowski passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bobek there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bobek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Bobek gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Walkowski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Walkowski connects with a couple of short punches.
Walkowski trying to control the position from guard on top but Bobek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bobek is looking to get back to full guard here but Walkowski has managed to pass to side control instead.

Walkowski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bobek is trying to escape the mount.
Walkowski wants to control the pace but Bobek is squirming around nicely.
Bobek is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walkowski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Walkowski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bobek looks a forlorn figure.
Bobek wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Walkowski is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Walkowski is hanging on to Bobek's back as he tries to escape.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Walkowski lands punches and elbows.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Walkowski has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bobek's body.

Walkowski keeps control of the position as Bobek tries to break free.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Walkowski is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bobek with him. Bobek is trying to defend but Walkowski has an arm under the chin now! Bobek grimaces and is forced to tap out!
