Willis has chosen As I Lay Dying - Through Struggle as his entrance music. Chay Willis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fitzgerald's head.
Fitzgerald lunges at Willis with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Willis's hand.
Fitzgerald throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fitzgerald takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Willis fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fitzgerald throws a right and a left that Willis avoids nicely.

Willis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fitzgerald looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fitzgerald wants to get back to his feet but Willis drags him back down.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Willis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fitzgerald.
Willis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fitzgerald manages to avoid it.

and Fitzgerald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Willis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fitzgerald is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Fitzgerald is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Willis scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Willis winds up and cracks Fitzgerald with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Willis lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fitzgerald quite badly. Fitzgerald pulls Willis in close trying to recover. Willis postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fitzgerald on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fitzgerald doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
