Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhony B Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jhony B Good!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sanchez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Sanchez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Good to the mat! Good manages to get full guard.
Sanchez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Good wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Sanchez is now in half guard.

Good looking for submissions off his back.
Good wants to improve his position but Sanchez is controlling well.

Good has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sanchez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Good.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sanchez is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Good has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Sanchez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Good for as long as he can get away with.
Good tries to lock up and control but Sanchez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Good is looking to improve his position but Sanchez isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Sanchez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sanchez showed some decent athleticism there.
Sanchez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Good wants to get back to full guard.

Sanchez passes the guard and advances to mount!
Sanchez is landing with some decent strikes but Good is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Sanchez controlling the positon.

Good tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Good really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Good tries to hold on but Sanchez pushes him away.

Good is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanchez has a good base and remains in mount.
Sanchez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Sanchez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Good is in all sorts of trouble here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Good tries to lock up and control but Sanchez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

BOOM! Sanchez connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Good is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Good on the ground.

Good is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sanchez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Sergio Sanchez just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Sanchez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Good sprawls well initially but Sanchez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sanchez seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Sanchez gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Good as he jumps to the side.

and Sanchez counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Good is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sanchez wants to get up but he can't break Good's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Good has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sanchez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Good has tightened it up now! Sanchez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
