Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bako King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Finlandia - Hymn. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tero Sankari enters the cage!

Sankari feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to King's calf.
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sankari was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
Sankari finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Sankari misses with a body kick.
Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
King misses with an uppercut. Sankari saw that one coming.
Sankari shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

King is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

King is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and King counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Sankari throws a leg kick but King sees it coming and moves out of range.

Sankari tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and King is able to avoid easily.

Both fighters circling a little - Sankari finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

King feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sankari sprawling to the canvas! Sankari rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can King finish him?!

Sankari throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sankari seems to have recovered his senses.

That was a close round but I would say that Bako King will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Tero Sankari's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sankari missing with a left hand there. King was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sankari turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Sankari shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches King napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sankari tries to buck King off but King is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sankari can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sankari is working to avoid the ground and pound but King connects with a decent elbow.
Sankari is trying to control King's posture but King avoids it.
Sankari is looking to reverse the position.
King controlling the position from side mount.
Sankari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
King is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sankari's shoulder. That is not cool.

Sankari throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Sankari tries to get back to half guard but can't.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sankari is looking to land body kicks.

King cracks Sankari with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sankari looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can King finish him?
Bako King is winning the standup battle so far.
Sankari drops his hands momentarily. King doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sankari staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sankari doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
